The first thing you should know about working with Pura Vida Homes is that our process is 100% customer focused and client driven. We pride ourselves on being completely transparent about our build calendar, our project budgets, our team and our process. We meet with clients regularly (usually weekly) to provide budget and build updates, answer questions, provide site tours and make sure we’re always meeting your highest expectations. Of course, you’re always welcome on the job site. In fact, we often organize “bale raisings” for our straw bale projects (like the barn raisings of old), where homeowners and their families and neighbors can get their hands dirty and be a part of building their own homes. At the end of the day, our mission is to build a beautiful, energy-efficient and high-performance home for your family; and that means your feedback is valued and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

"Gavin was also able to take the basic plans and make design improvements along with practicing innovative construction techniques and use of quality materials. One of the most compelling features of my home is the wrap around second-floor deck that was built with gorgeous 6" x 6" rough-cut cedar posts that support the deck structure as well as continue through to be the posts for the handrail. The cedar posts and cedar fascia were stained a wonderful Hawthorne brown.

The finished product is truly beautiful."
